IGNOU Passing Marks 2023 For Assignments
To pass an IGNOU assignment, a candidate must score at least 40%, which is equivalent to 40 out of 100 marks. This minimum score is the same for all IGNOU academic courses. An assignment must be resubmitted to IGNOU if a candidate does not obtain the required minimum marks on it.
IGNOU Passing Marks For Term End Exams
- To pass the theory or practical portions of an IGNOU Master’s degree program, you must score at least 40%, which is equivalent to 40 out of 100 marks.
- The minimum passing score for the Bachelor’s degree and all other programs is also 40%, which is equivalent to 40 out of 100 marks on the Term End Exam (TEE). This is an increase from the previous minimum passing score of 35%.
IGNOU Passing Marks Out Of 70 & 50
To pass an IGNOU Term End Exam, candidates must score at least 25%, which is equivalent to 25 out of 100 marks, on a question paper with 70 marks. For Bachelor’s degree exams, candidates must score at least 20%, which is equivalent to 20 out of 100 marks, on each paper with 50 marks. The same minimum passing score of 20% applies to Master’s degree exams.
